On Monday, CPS released the list of schools slated for “turnaround,” including Cassals and Piccolo. The West Humboldt Park Parent Network is meeting to decide what we will do about this latest round of school privatization.
Should the City of Chicago have an elected school board?
In 2011, 87% of Chicagoans voted in favor of an elected school board.
In 2015, 27th ward residents can too.
Please come out to a community meeting to discuss what is an elected school board and how can it impact Chicago Public Schools.

We, the BT-Make It Happen Crew are doing our final project. We will be dedicating a flower bed to our loved one, Torrence Shorter. There will also be a BBQ and speakers from ‘We Farm’ & ‘Green Corps, who will speak about how to begin a neighborhood garden.
